MAN - VILLA

Designed by Maroon Architects, this luxurious residential project in Annarjis, Riyadh, is a masterpiece of modern architecture set within a densely developed area, which demanded a high priority on occupant privacy. The villa showcases a facade combining natural stone and warm wood accents, characterized by clean, horizontal lines that enhance its contemporary appeal. Strategic lighting highlights the rich textures of the materials, adding an inviting warmth to the structure.

Central to the design is a skylit courtyard, positioned at the heart of the villa and surrounded by all floors. This architectural choice not only brings a piece of nature into the home daily but also ensures privacy, shielding the residents from the outside world. The second floor is strategically placed on the southern side, providing shade over the courtyard in the afternoons, which adds a layer of thermal comfort without the use of mechanical means.

The villa’s front facade faces the northern side, allowing for larger windows that facilitate the entry of indirect, natural daylight, enhancing the indoor environment while maintaining a comfortable temperature. Inside, the villa opens up to a spacious and airy interior, with large sliding glass doors that merge the indoor living areas with the lush outdoor garden, perfect for entertainment and relaxation.
